3 Life Lessons For The Lonely Hustler

I’m writing this from LAX and as I’m about to leave San Diego for a 4-month hiatus overseas,

I jus’ wanted to share 3 major things I picked up from my time back home.

1) Family is everything.

When I was down, I didn’t feel like anyone cared. Some friends who knew that I was home on emergency would still only hit me up to ask me how I could help them with their business when that was the very last thing on my mind.

I wanna help – but damn…

I’m still human and I need a break jus’ like everyone else.

My family on the other hand? They were jus’ happy I was home.

Happy to help me heal and to keep my mind off of anything that was bringin’ me down.

So no matter what happens in your life, as long as family’s around you’ll never be alone…

Family is EVERYTHING and should always be on top as your number one priority.

2) You don’t have to be on your deathbed to have massive regrets

We’ve heard these stories of folks talking about all the things they regret they didn’t do in life.

But in reality, you can have those regrets when you’re young and in the your mid-30’s like some of my friends do…

Some of em used their kids, their mortgage, or their jobs as a reason for why they don’t do this or that…

My response?

Stop makin’ excuses as to why you shouldn’t follow your dreams!

If your dream doesn’t get you motivated to bust your butt to earn it, then you jus’ don’t want it bad enough, simple as that.

3) The online world is here to stay

And you don’t have to know everything to make it work either…

A friend of mine started to apply some ridiculously simple email marketing strategies to his job and they actually had to stop marketing because they had too much work to do…

A good problem to have if you ask me…

You see, even something like email marketing was lost to my friend’s company…

And in his first quarter with them, he’s already helping them to do bigger things than they ever have before…

The hardest way to make this thing work is to try and tackle the whole thing at once (you’ll be overwhelmed)…

The easiest way to make this thing work?

Learn one thing then apply it. Learn another thing then apply that…

Systematically piece together the puzzle bit by bit.

Then, after weeks, months, years of consistent progression, you’ll be head and shoulders above the competition and success becomes the next logical result.

So keep workin’, keep fightin’ for your dreams, and keep family close cuz we all need love sometimes.
